Our last Share Night
What a great night we had with Andrew Goodall and Rich Johnston. We received some great advice from Andrew about the use of wide angle lenses and his upcoming trip to Norfolk Island sounds exciting.

Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary
Have you signed up yet for our outing on August 31st at 7.30 am?
Located at Sports Road, Bli Bli, we can explore wet and dry eucalypt forests, rainforest, melaleuca forest, casuarina woodland, salt marsh and mangroves. We can watch over 200 different types of birds, as well as crabs, butterflies and other animals that make the wetlands their home.
Within this wetland, life thrives in land on the edge of the sea, flooded by freshwater and salty tides. One of south east Queensland's largest groups of Mangrove Ferns grow in these wetlands.
Please put your name in the Events book at the front desk if you are wishing to join us for this outing.

Interclub Digital 2019
The selectors have been at work determining which images are to represent us at Interclub Digital 2019. When only 2 images per person across the many sections are allowed it made the selection process rather daunting so we thank everyone who put up their images for consideration. You can view all the entries and the acceptances by visiting our MPC site and clicking on the Competitions tab.

Thanks to Bruce Atkinson for sending through a link to a video you may all find interesting.
Echoing the energy of her emotions, self-portrait landscape photographer Lizzy Gadd brings life to the vast landscape of the Scottish Highlands. Wearing vibrant colors, she creates contrast against a backdrop of wilderness, becoming the human element within Mother Nature’s playground. In stark opposition with the scene, Lizzy becomes a portrait of the human experience—exposed and wild. To view the video please clisk here.
