Our last share night
Wow, what an entertaining share night we had with Richard West who shared with us his many images, ideas, thoughts and experiences of his trip around Australia on his motor bike. Richard is now a member of CCG and I am sure you will join me in welcoming him to our club. Maybe we can, one day, coerce him into repeating his presentation so that those who were not there on the night can view it and those of us who were there can re-experience it.

Bravo David Bryan
David recently received his EFIAP Honours Award (Excellence Federation Internationale De L’Art Photographique). To achieve this award, David had to have taken part with success in at least 30 international salons in at least 20 different countries; and also to have obtained at least 250 acceptances with at least 50 different works, in international salons under FIAP Patronage. He had to include a minimum of 12 different works which received at least one acceptance in “Print” Salons. No mean achievement!

Club outing to Lake Moogerah
This little band of CCG members enjoyed great fun at Lake Moogerah on our recent outing and many thanks go to Gerry for his organising. We explored the areas and small towns near the lake, rose early for sunrise photography, captured a few bird shots and went to bed late after some astrophotography. We dined out and we dined in and shared a few drops of red between us too. All in all a great time was had by all. Maybe next time you can join us! More photos on our FB page.
Attendance Book
Are you guilty of not signing our attendance book? We all forget at times, but it really is important for you to sign the book each and every time you come to a meeting or go on a club outing. Yes we do like to monitor our attendance levels but the most important reason is for insurance purposes. If you should have an accident when attending a club related matter and have not signed the book, well you won't be able to claim against our insurance policy. So not only will your body hurt so will your pocket!!
